The site is located approximately 2 miles to the south east of Gainsborough town centre in a prominent position adjacent to a Morrisons food store and opposite the Heapham Road Industrial Estate. Heapham Road offers direct access on to Thorndyke Way (A631).

Description

The site extends to approximately 0.34 hectare (0.85 acre) with a frontage to Heapham Road of approximately 55 m (180 ft). To the south east of the site lies the entrance and petrol filling station for the adjacent Morrisons food store. The front section of the site is currently utilised as a recycling centre with the rear area being redundant car parking.

Planning

According to the local adopted plans (West Lindsay Local Plan (First Review) 2006) the site has no specific designation, but is situated adjacent to an area of protected open space (Policy Core 9) and opposite an employment area (Policy Econ 1).
